Pinner United Development Centre has excellent qualified coaches, ideal for coaching young players. 

 

Head Coach, Craig Nicholson, is a UEFA B coach who mentors other coaches for Middlesex FA.  We also have another UEFA 'B' coach and another 3 who are preparing to gain the Level 2 qualification.

 

The Development Centre is mainly for Reception and Year 1 children due to its aim to provide players for Pinner United Football Club at Under 7 age-group (Year 2) as they enter team competition. Reception and Year 1 children are not subject to trials and will be taken on if they want to learn and commit to team football in the future, subject to there being places available.

 

We particularly like to take on Reception age children so that we can mould them into skilful young footballers.

 

Year 2 children can be given trials but must meet team standards.

  

In the Autumn and Winter, sessions are held at Islip Manor High School where we use the superb Astroturf for the more experienced players whilst the very young ones train indoors in an excellent sports hall.  These are amongst the best training facilities of any club in the Harrow Youth Football League. In the spring, summer and early autumn the young players are coached at our home ground, Bessingby Park, in Ruislip.

 

​Coaching is provided by highly-qualified coaches who are skilled at coping with very young children with a mix of abilities. Our sessions, which aim to improve children’s fitness and ball skills, are also about learning to play football in a fun environment.

Players must be pre-registered with us before they can attend our sessions. This is important as we need to control the numbers to ensure that we always have the right number of coaches, equipment and facilities available.
