Pinner United Football Academy has the best qualified coaches of any Academy or Soccer School in Middlesex.

Academy Head Coach, Craig Nicholson, is a UEFA B coach who mentors other coaches for Middlesex FA.  We also have 2 Level 2 coaches and another 3 who are preparing to gain the Level 2 qualification.

The Academy is mainly for Reception and Year 1 children due to its aim to provide players for Pinner United Football Club at Under 7 age-group (Year 2) as they enter team competition. Reception and Year 1 children are not subject to trials and will be taken on if they want to learn and commit to team football in the future.

We particularly like to take on Reception age children so that we can mould them into skilful young footballers.

Year 2 children can be given trials but must meet team standards.

All Academy sessions are held at Northolt High School where in the late autumn and winter we use the superb Astroturf for the more experienced players whilst the very young ones train indoors in an excellent sports hall. In the spring, summer and early autumn we use the school grass pitches. These are almost certainly the best training facilities of any club in the Harrow Youth Football League.

Coaching is provided by highly-qualified coaches who are skilled at coping with very young children with a mix of abilities. Our sessions, which aim to improve children’s fitness and ball skills, are also about learning to play football in a fun environment.

Our Academy is different to many soccer schools as we can offer organised team football to those players who want it. Not all soccer schools have the youth football club structure behind them as we do.

Players must be pre-registered with us before they can attend our sessions. This is important as we need to control the numbers to ensure that we always have the right number of coaches, equipment and facilities available.
