About Pinner Utd
Pinner United F.C. was registered as a youth football club in April 1994 by Dave Howes, a qualified F.A. Coach now with some 30 years experience in youth football.

In its 30 year history, Pinner United has run as many as 15 sides per season and has currently has 15 teams from Under 7 to Under 15.

All of our sides play their matches at Bessingby Park Playing Fields, Bessingby Road, Ruislip Manor.

We believe that we have a unique set up in the way that our boys are coached and looked after and this gives us a very close-knit club.  The club has some excellent qualified coaches but we are always on the look-out for qualified people to assist in the running of our teams.

In addition to our club sides, we also have the Pinner United Football Academy coaching children from Reception school age to Year 2.  The Academy is run by highly-qualified coaches (up to UEFA 'B' level) and provides the club with players at Under 7 age-group.  From Under 8 onwards the players are coached within Pinner United Football Club and leave the Academy.

In the 2013/14 season, Pinner United was awarded the Harrow Youth Football League 'Club of the Year' award ahead of some 83 clubs competing in the League.

In the same season, our Under 11A side won the County Cup, the highest prize in youth football in the Middlesex area. They were also Premier Division champions and have been consistently one of the best sides in Middlesex since their days as Under 9s (see below).

Prior to this, the club’s best performing side was our Under 16 side, in the 2002/3 season, who completed a unique double, winning the Harrow Youth League Premier Division title and the League Cup competition, their second League and Cup double in successive seasons. The same side, as Under 11s, won the Hayes & District Premier Division title 4 years earlier, memorably winning 15 successive League games. A number of these lads are currently playing semi-professional, first team football.

The 2005/6 season also proved to be a very significant one for the club with the Under 13s winning the Harrow Youth Football League Premier Division title and the Under 12s just failing by 2 points to emulate a Premier Division title.

In the 2011/12 season, our Under 9A side became the top-performing side in the Harrow Soccer 7s Combination.  This success gave a much-needed boost to our younger teams and we were able to form two Under 9 sides and two Under 10 sides in the following season. All of these sides achieved promotion in Phase 1 of the 2012/13 season. Also, our Under 12 side gained a comprehensive division 5 league win and subsequently did the same in Division 4.

We are fortunate that we have first-class people running our club and this makes for a very contented membership. However, we are always striving to improve in all areas, but particularly in our playing strength and coaching. Therefore, we are always keen to hear from good young players, aged 6-14, to whom we can offer trials and a quick decision on their suitability.  Qualified coaches who are looking to improve themselves and our club are always welcome.

Every June the club celebrates its season, holding a Presentation Evening for its 180+ players and their families. Every boy who has played for the club receives a playing award and for each team there are 4 individual awards – Players’ Player, Manager’s Player, Most Improved Player and Team Clubman. The club also awards 4 major club awards – The Steve Williams Trophy, Dave Howes Trophy and the Paul Queenan Award to our 11-a-side players and The Darryl Moody Trophy for our best 7-a-side player.
